Eatalica

Eatalica in RA Puram was the least researched place and most random place selected by my friend and myself to have dinner!

Parking two-wheeler s is a piece of cake but those who come by car should not even bother to find parking near Eatalica, the parallel quiet streets is your place to park the car and walk to Eatalica.

The ambiance was simple with a few normal tables and chairs. Their quirky boards on the wall was sure interesting. Another thing even more interesting is the names given to each dish! Paris Hilton for french fries, Nemo for fish fingers and so on.

We ordered Justin Shimberlake, Harry Cowdini and Lucky Lasanyo. Other than Justin we literally waited for 25 minutes for Harry and Lucky to arrive :/

Justin Shimberlake is a humble person with stuffed mushroom and cheese 🙂 He looked very promising on the outside but damn! Looks can be deceptive! He was half empty inside. The dish did not live up to my expectations. The stuffing wasn’t sufficient enough  and it tasted okay:/ I expected the mushrooms to be juicy but it was quite dry.

Lucky Lasanyo our vegetable lasagna arrived really late. The lasagna was too hot that even after ten minutes of leaving it to cool we burnt our tongue :/ The lasagna was very decent with cheese overloaded 🙂

Harry Cowdini can be introduced as a bbq burger topped with cheese, lettuce, mustard, mayonnaise, tomatos and onions. This burger, served with fries, was the best we had of everything and strangely I did not miss meat! Full justice was served.

The service is really slow! unless you wave in their face it is difficult to catch hold of one of the two staff there!

The prices are really nominal, costed us less than INR 600 and we could easily make out that this place is frequented by a lot of regulars. I will definitely be heading back to meet their other characters 🙂
