Infantaria

We had a minor mess up on our arrival day at Goa so we couldn’t really have that beach Goan type of breakfast.

After all the fuss I did that day for having a lame breakfast, the next day had to be Toast!

Infantaria was very close to where we stayed and a top recommendation for breakfast.

The place is simple but painted with the colour of sunshine yellow!

We ordered fresh mushrooms on toast, scrambled egg, a spinach omelette and a chicken croissant.

Food flew in quickly. The chicken croissant was warmed up before served. The croissant was really soft with the stuffing inside! The chicken had a extra hint of garlic but I still loved it.

True to its name, there was fresh mushrooms on toast, no surprises there. Anyone who loves mushroom will like the dish.

The scrambled eggs and spinach omelette was perfect as well. We also ordered a peach iced tea and a 🍺.

The corona was served with a slice of lemon and the peach iced tea was good with the right amount of sugar and essence.

The service is quick but the place is expensive! The total bill rounded to around INR 1500. Be careful of the extras you ask for, INR 2 jam packet is charged at INR 30 in the cafe.

My mum would have given me the typical speech that I make the same toast at home 💁 but there is charm about eating Toast in cafes.
