The Heat Mexican Cafe and Grill

Not everyday I get to meet my friend in Bangalore, India; but when we did meet, we have to talk a lot! literally a lot!! so much energy is needed that we cannot do it without food πŸ˜‰

The “Heat” in New Bel Road was were in ended up. The restaurant is huge and spread over two floors. But considering the size of their place, the parking is a problem Big Time!

Anyway we headed to the second floor, they have both smoking and non smoking area but the outside seating was so pleasant, we sat out. Their Ambiance all paid tribute to Mexico!!

From the menu: Off course, no Mexican meal is complete without Nachos, so their Super Nachos, Enchiladas and for mains, Onion and Mushroom Chicken.

The nachos had melted cheese, lettuce, chili beans, pico de gallo (fancy mexican term for chopped tomato, onion, coriander leaves) and when you dig deep, the tortilla chips are finally excavated πŸ˜€ Piece of advice?? Eat it as fast as you can before the chips get all soggy but nevertheless, the nachos was good.

I do not remember exactly which Enchilada we ordered but it was served with french fries and veggies. One can choose up to two sides of our choice.

The main course was our last dish which had Grilled Chicken, onions, mushrooms, served with rice and grilled vegetables. The whole dish would have been better if they were gracious in the amount of sauce served. The sauce was hardly enough :/ and the chicken was too dry!!

The service is good but the food took a while to come. The whole bill came around INR 1200 which seemed slightly above nominal prices.
