This place located in the TTK is very easy to spot, located above cream stone, this place has the perfect tradition mixed with modern decor. The place is all painted yellow with brown pillars. Comfortable chairs and tables give seating space for a huge crowd. The service in this place is very polite and customer friendly.
We ordered a long list of starters, chicken lollipop, prawn fry, fish, chili chicken and baby corn fry. For the mains, chicken 65 biryani, chicken kothu paratha and veg kothu paratha.
The food came around 15 minutes to come. The prawns were the first to arrive, medium sized, deep fried and crisp with curry leaves. We ordered for a second plate of prawns and surprisingly the quantity given the second time was more! The chicken, fish, baby corn all followed. The baby corn tasted slightly over fried, the chicken was showered with egg scrambles and curry leaves making it all a good combination. The fish was medium spicy and had a golden look.
The chicken 65 biryani was hot and spicy and tasteful. The chicken kothu paratha was made well with chicken chunks, paratha and kolambu scrambled. The veg kothu paratha on the other hand was a serious taste spoiler! they had vegetables instead of the chicken but we as non-vegetarians preferred the taste of chicken kothu paratha.
A total family restaurant with a good variety of choices to select from. The prices are nominal and the quantity differs and is inconsistent! There isn’t ample space for parking but it is taken care of by the staff.
