This place screams simplicity and cuteness! This place is a small bistro with a limited menu but yet very interesting one! They have sandwiches, spaghetti, french fries and beverages.
We started with the only soup available there- Mushroom soup; it has fraiche, crème and truffle oil. This soup was very different because of the presence of crème in it! It’s texture, not smooth, was something I have never had!
We moved on to roasted mushroom sandwich which had braised cabbage, confit onion, salsa verde and ricotto.
Spaghetti pesto cream which had olives, tomatoes, walnuts and zucchini!
And spaghetti sorrentino, cherry tomatoes, mozerella, basil and pomodero sauce (tomato based), we selected a frappe from beverages and pomme French fries. They had two other varieites of French fries one with a butter made from their kitchen and other was served with a sauce (I’m guessing).
The food was served really fast! The French fries crisp and the frappe strong! The sandwich though tasted good was overpriced for the portion they served 😦 The spaghetti with basil sauce was good only it was served hot but the other spaghetti won my heart over clean bowled!
In addition to all this they have macaroons and other bakery specials! This place is wonderful to stop by just for a quick cup of coffee. Since there are a lot of people and very limited place, sadly one cannot spend a lot of time there.
