Tales and Sprits

This place is the new kid in business. This place is a blast of white and blue colour all prettily decorated with outdoor and indoor seating. We wanted to be seated outside but the place was full! left with no choice we were seated inside. Their service is impeccable, right from seating us to opening the door for us to leave. they are perfect!

We started with cream of vegetable soup. The soup came quickly and was really good! the right amount of hotness and cheese in the soup with a piece of garlic bread made it amazing.

Moving on to the main course, the waiter was kind enough to ask if we needed suggestions even before we asked him. We settled for Aglio Olio spaghetti pasta and Tales and Spirits Calzone Pizze (that’s how they spell their pizza!!)

Calzone is shaped like a folded pizza stuffed with Mozzarella, Cottage Cheese, Healthy Spinach, Glazed Onions, Mushrooms and Roasted Zucchini. The waiter informed us well in advance that the pizza would take 20-30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the spaghetti was served. The pasta had olives, garlic, shallots (small onions), chili flakes and fresh herbs with garlic toast. It was dry spaghetti with a lot of chili flakes and herbs sprinkled over it. We loved the spaghetti and shamelessly wished there was more quantity 😉 😛

The Calzone also arrived at the right time when our appetite was at its peak! We asked the pizza to be made spicy but the stuffing was still made sweet. This was the only drawback but everything else was good.

Though the place and taste of the food is good I found this place a little over priced! In short it is not a daily stop kind of place but once in a while luxury indulgence kind of place!
