This place interested us so much because of their menu and their TEST TUBE PANI PURI! We got slightly lost because the area was not our usual place but when we called the restaurant they directed us the way perfectly.
They have a ground floor and a first floor. The ambience in the ground floor is good but the ambience in the first floor seemed incomplete. They had uno cards and other board games to play with! And for the photo obsessed race they have party props too. And the best innovative thing I loved was that bubble wrap was used as table mats!!
We choose paneer tikka from their appetizers and Jovos pani puri. The specialty about their pani puri is the way they presented the water in test tubes and the different flavours of water they served them with! 3 of them were the normal pudina flavoured, one was kokam flavoured , strawberry flavoured and orange flavoured and their combinations were amzing!!!
Their paneer tikka was good but more than the food I took fancy to the way they presented their dish! It came in a traditional ceramic jar (which reminded me of home because that’s how we store pickles and we call it Jaadi!!) with burning tiny pieces of coals inside to keep the paneer hot!! The paneer was kept together with a barbeque kind of stick!
For beverages we ordered strawberry crushers, watermelon crushers and a chocolate drink. The crushers were too good all served with ice and tiny straws. The chocolate drink was just fine.
The main course for vegetarians is really limited. The names in their menu were very different and they were majorly attempting to infuse Indian with Italian. We settled for Mumbai keema lasagna served with garlic toast and Paneer sizzler with Rosemary jus.
The paneer sizzler with rosemary jus was a good combination. The lasagna however did not really catch my attention!
A fun place to hang out and catch up with friends!!
